The 110 mile stretch of road to Bokelia was filled with excitement and joy, knowing the possibility of tarpon on the end of our fly line. Scheming the game plan and studying the areas and tides once we soon arrive filled the truck with conversation. As the sun peeked over the horizon and the skiff hit the water we were off. Poling up onto the flat the image of hundreds of rolling tarpon met the eye. A backcountry feeder creek turned out to hold all the gold. Silver kings or in this case princes always are just so satisfying to catch. Get out there and explore the unknown! The gurglers used to catch these beauties are sold on this website, if you are interested place an order and get after some fish!
