Topwater, Topwater, and more Topwater.

The early morning dew dropped from the trees above onto the calm tanic water. River fishing is a beautiful thing, it’s serene calm and also exhilarating. Sunken trees and stumps hold predators waiting for their opportune moment. Today we caught a spread of those predators on the fly. Bass, bluegill, red breasts, stumpknockers and the best suprise of them all a resident snook! Small foam top water poppers with a hackle tail was all we needed to have a day out there! Shaded pockets and deeper pockets were our bread and butter! Go out and explore the unknown water, you never know what you’ll catch!
